Calista Maillard of Naval Mair Physical Medicine

Calista is deeply committed to working collaboratively with her patients to ensure that each individual reaches their unique health goals. Her philosophical approach centres on the principle of “treating the whole person,” meaning her role extends beyond just addressing immediate symptoms. 


Calista focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of dysfunction by thoroughly examining the lifestyle and environmental factors that may contribute to her patients' challenges. This comprehensive perspective ensures that her treatment is not only effective but also enables her patients to achieve health and well-being.


Calista holds a M.Ost Master's degree in Osteopathy, alongside diplomas in Naturopathy and Kinesiology. She is also currently specialising in Pediatrics at the Osteopathic Children's Centre.

Additionally, Calista is a highly accomplished ballerina who has performed globally with renowned ballet companies such as the San Francisco Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and the Bolshoi Ballet, among others. This background provides her with a unique perspective on patient care, as she emphasises fluid movement-based exercises to make rehabilitation both enjoyable and

restorative. Through her ballet training, she has also learned the importance of visualisation and breathwork, which she seamlessly integrates into her treatment protocols.


In addition to her paediatric focus, Calista has a passion for treating rheumatological conditions and chronic pain. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels understood, safe, and empowered when they leave her consultation, allowing them to take charge of their lives rather than being

defined by the ailments that brought them to her care.
