Osteopathy
Our treatment stimulates and decongests the soft tissues, improves joint function and helps create an environment where your body has a real chance to heal. Osteopathic treatment is, by definition, manual yet sensitive to patient needs and gentle. Techniques include very gentle balancing techniques, specialised muscle and joint therapy or very specific body adjustment. Our treatment is a pleasant experience, being rhythmic and soothing.
Physical Rehabilitation
Physiotherapy is different to osteopathy. The physiotherapy exercises that we offer at Naval Mair Osteopathy & Wellbeing will help speed up your recovery from operations and surgery. Our consultant physiotherapist will coach you on how best to move optimally, how to sit, and how to stand. These preventive skills will improve your stability and control and also prevent future problems.
Acupuncture
Western Medical Acupuncture is a therapeutic modality involving the insertion of fine needles. It is an adaptation of Chinese acupuncture using current knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, and the principles of evidence based medicine. In this practice, as clinicians we are all qualified in this approach to therapy. We use this as one of our therapeutic modalities as and when or if required.
IDD Therapy
As back pain treatment specialists, we see a lot of patients who need something more than hands on therapy. If you have had back pain, neck pain or nerve pain for some time, particularly if you have a disc problem, our IDD Therapy disc treatment programme is here to help you.
IDD Therapy is a targeted treatment which relieves pressure on specific spinal discs and gently restores mobility
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is a new, non-surgical, non-invasive treatment option for a wide variety of conditions.

Mobiliser Recovery Suite
Patients use our Mobiliser Recovery Suite to optimise their recovery. Some patients just use our peaceful suite for 15 minutes to simply escape and take a ‘15 minute vacation’!
